TWMCC Holds Online Ramadan lecture 'Ramadan is The Month of Reform And Change'

The World Muslim Communities Council held a virtual Ramadan lecture under the theme: Ramadan is The Month of Reform And Change' presented by Sh Dr Faid M Said Imam and Secretary General of the Commission of Fatwa and Sharia Affairs at London Central Mosque Trust & The Islamic Cultural Centre
Dr Faid M Said emphasised that Ramadan provides a great opportunity to change ourselves for the better, and some may mistakenly believe that society hinders the process of change
He said, 'Being a Muslim is a great honour that comes to you from Allah without you working hard for it' adding, 'Prayer is the best thing and prayer is what connects a Muslim to his God'
Dr Faid M Said explained that 'Humility is one of the awesome qualities in a human being, and a good man is humble with everyone'
He added, In this holy month, we must distribute charities, and we must remember that 'charity begins at home', pointing out that the family is an important part of the Islamic religion, and the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, urged us to take care of the family
It is noteworthy that the World Muslim Communities Council is an international non-governmental organisation, and is considered a house of expertise for rationalising organisations and institutions working in Muslim Communities, renewing their thinking, improving their performance, and coordinating among them
