The World Muslim Communities Council held a virtual Ramadan lecture under the theme: “Peaceful Coexistence among Beliefs and Cultures.. An Islamic Perspective,” presented by Dr Bilal Al Hallak, Chairman of Dar Al-Fatwa in California.
Dr. Bilal Al Hallak emphasised the significance of Surah Al-Asr, noting its 3 verses and 14 words, underscoring its profound meanings and implications.
He added, “Whoever neglects time and wastes it disobeying Allah has missed out on much goodness.”
Dr Bilal Al Hallak said, “Man's feet will not move on the Day of Judgement until they are asked about how they spent their life”
He added, “Making the most of one's time brings benefit to the Muslim, while wasting time leads to regret on the Day of Judgement”
Dr. Al Hallak pointed out that advice is an expression of goodwill towards others, aiming to benefit them, protect them from harm, and impart knowledge for their betterment.
It is noteworthy that the World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC) is an international non-governmental organisation, and is considered a house of expertise for rationalising organisations and institutions working in Muslim Communities, renewing their thinking, improving their performance, and coordinating among them.
