American Film Director: Islam the Religion of Truth

The World Muslim Communities Council organised on Thursday, 6, April 2023, a virtual lecture by Virginia Gray Henry, an Islamic scholar and film director in the USA, as part of the series of Ramadan lectures organised by TWMCC under the theme 'Refining children's hearts around the world'
Virginia Gray said that her husband was studying some books on the Islamic religion and that when she read one of those books she was sure that the Islamic religion is the religion of truth
Henry added that Islam was not known about in the sixties of the last century, so they decided to go to Egypt's Al-Azhar Al-Sharif to learn about Islam and learn, noting that they learned the Arabic language in Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and sat with scholars and were interested in Imam al-Ghazali and his books
The Islamic scholar and film director in the USA confirmed that the Egyptian society and its moderate Islamic teachings helped her a lot during her youth and that she gave birth to her son in Egypt, then she went to London and began publishing the books of Imam al-Ghazali and teaching them at the University of Cambridge
Henry indicated that she benefited a lot from the books of Imam al-Ghazali which helped her teach spiritual values to Muslim children in England, stressing that her life had changed because of the books of Imam al-Ghazali and she learned humility from them
The Islamic scholar and film director in the USA stressed that Muslims are one nation and must unite to protect kids and teach them the Qur’an and Sunnah, especially since the spread of technology has led to a different generation of kids than any previous generation
