Secretary General of the Association of Islamic Universities Receives Secretary-General of TWMCC in Cairo

HE Prof. Osama Al Abd, Secretary General of the Association of Islamic Universities, has received HE Dr Mohamed Bechari, Secretary-General of The World Muslim Communities Council and Vice President of the Association of Islamic Universities, at the Association’s headquarters at Al-Azhar University in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on Wednesday, 8 February 2023.
The Secretary General of the Association of Islamic Universities welcomed Bechari and praised all the efforts made by TWMCC in protecting Muslims and their children from currents of extremism and encouraging them to integrate into their societies
The two parties also discussed the issue of educational curricula, as the Association of Islamic Universities intends to work on preparing a guide that is able to accommodate the developments and students can skillfully deal with according to the purposes of Islamic law
TWMCC is an international non-governmental organisation that was established on 8 May, 2018, in Abu Dhabi. It includes more than 900 Islamic organisations and institutions from 142 countries. It is a think tank for helping organisations and associations operating in Muslim communities, renewing their thinking, improving their performance, and coordinating its joint work
