Secretary General of The Council Participates in Conference of the Ministers of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in Islamic World

His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Bechari, Secretary-General of The World Muslim Communities Council participated in meetings of the thirteenth session of the Executive Council of the Conference of Ministers of Endowments and Islamic Affairs of the Islamic World, in Cairo, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Islamic Affairs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al  Sheikh.


 The council discussed a number of topics on the agenda, and reviewed the experiences of the ministries of Islamic Affairs and Endowments in technical in building mosques, exchanging experiences and regulations of appointing imams and preachers, making fatwa , and confronting extremism and terrorism.



 He also reviewed the Council's opinion on the development of regulations and programs to immunize platforms from hate speech, extremism and terrorism;  common human values ​​such as coexistence and tolerance;  and modern means of communication, and role of the ministries of Islamic affairs and endowments in benefiting from them, controls of speech in public affairs, the role of endowments in increasing the GDP in Islamic countries, and the experience of the General Authority of Endowments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in endowment funds.


Bechari affirmed the Council’s rejection of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. He has clarified Islam’s opinions on extremism and terrorism, and denounced the terrorist practices that the Saudi and the UAE are being subjected to from the Iranian-backed Houthi militia against civilians and facilities, stressing the necessity of confronting these terrorist acts and interventions. Bechari calls upon the scholars, imams and preachers in all countries of the Islamic world to expose the corruption of these militias.
