Abdulkadir Ali: We are an Integrated Institution in servicing Islam and Muslims*

Among the daily Ramadan sessions, the World Muslim Communities Council organized, on Sunday, April 3, 2022, a lecture entitled "A Helping Hand for Muslim Communities in Berlin", in which Abdulkadir Ali, imam and Administrator of the Iman Nafi Center, Berlin, Germany, spoke via the council's social media pages.
Abdulkadir said that he faced many challenges in the beginning as there was no imam in the mosque besides the problem of housing, so he had to work well to overcome those challenges.
The imam and director of the Iman Nafi Center in Berlin, Germany, added that he worked seriously in accordance with the words of Allah Almighty, “Work (righteousness): Soon will Allah observe your work,” until he succeeded in making this mosque one of the largest in Germany, not just as a
house of worship, but an integrated institution in the service of Islam and Muslims.
Ali explained that the Mufti will not be able to issue good fatwas if he has been away from his community for years, so they have to communicate with Muslim communities to find out about their lives and problems and work to solve them.
The imam emphasized their efforts to teach children to read the Noble Qur’an and bring them up on it, in addition to organizing sports and recreational programs for them.
Ali explained that they find housing for the homeless, and help young people who want to get married.
It is noteworthy that The World Muslim Communities Council is an international non-governmental organization, headquartered in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi. It is considered a think tank to rationalize organizations and societies working in Muslim societies, renew their thinking and improve their performance in order to achieve one goal; The integration of Muslim societies in their countries, in a way that their members realize the perfection of citizenship and complete affiliation with the Islamic religion.
