The World Muslim Communities Council Delegation Visit Russian Federation, President of Tatarstan Welcomes its Chairman

His Excellency Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, welcomed the delegation of the World Muslim Communities Council, headed by His Excellency Dr. Ali Rashid Al-Nuaimi, Chairman of the Council, as part its visit to the Russian Federation.
The two parties dealt with strengthening cooperation between The World Muslim Communities Council and the Republic of Tatarstan, follow up on the progress of joint projects between the Council and religious institutions in the Republic, discussing issues of concern to the Muslim community, as well as combating hate speech and extremism.
Al Nuaimi presented a gift to the President, the "Peace Rug", which is part of Sheikha Fatima Bint Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan's project in support of Afghan rural women, to promote dialogue of civilizations, openness to others and establish the values of tolerance and coexistence.
The Council’s visit to the Russian Federation was marked by several important meetings with high-level personalities, effective meetings and activities, to strengthen relations, support the efforts of Muslims around the world, discuss their conditions, as well as work to spread the values of peace and tolerance in the Russian Federation and the world for the good of all mankind.
In this context, His Excellency Dr. Ali Al-Nuaimi, met His Eminence Mufti Sheikh Kamil Hazrat Samigullin, Chairperson of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation. They discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides, discuss issues of concern to the Muslim community, as well as establish the values of peace, tolerance and coexistence in the Russian Federation and in the world. At the end of the meeting, Al-Nuaimi presented the Mufti of Tatarstan the "Peace rug ".
The visit included an important meeting with representatives of the Russian Islamic University in Kazan, headed by Dr. Rafiq Muhammadshin, President of the University. They discussed issues of strengthen relations and cooperation between the two parties, how to consolidate the values of tolerance, coexistence and peace, and the importance of belonging to religion and loyalty to the homeland.
His Excellency Dr. Ali Rashid Al-Nuaimi gave a lecture to students of the Russian Islamic University in Kazan, in which he discussed several topics that concern Muslim communities in the Russian Federation and the world, stressing the need to establish common human values, spreading principles of moderation, belonging to the homeland, respect for law, dialogue and coexistence with other religions and cultures.
Chairman of The World Muslim Communities Council met with the delegation of the Bulgar Islamic Academy in Tatarstan, headed by Mr. Daniyar Abdul Rahmanov, Director of the Academy. The meeting revolved around the activation of the partnership agreement with the Council, the development of Islamic education, student support projects, and the classification of Islamic manuscripts.
It is worth noting that the Council’s delegation met with officials at the Khazar Publishing and Media House affiliated to the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan, to follow up on the efforts of the administration in introducing Islamic culture, manuscripts, and religious discourse in media, as well as strengthening cooperation with the Council.
In the Russian capital, Moscow, the Chairman of The World Muslim Communities Council met with Mr. Almaz Raulevich, Deputy Director of the Department of Cooperation of the Internal Policy Department of the Office of the Russian President with religious organizations in the Fund for the Support of Islamic Culture, Science and Education in the Russian Federation. They discussed ways to activating cooperation agreement, issues of concern to the Muslim community in the Russian Federation in matters of education and society, and spreading the values of coexistence and tolerance. At the end of the meeting, Al-Nuaimi presented the Deputy Director the "Peace rug".
His Excellency Dr. Ali Rashid Al-Nuaimi also met Mr. Alekperov Alikbek Kalabikavish, Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies at the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow, and discussed the activation of the joint cooperation agreement with the Council, support for scientific research projects, and the classification of Islamic manuscripts.
It is noteworthy that the World Muslim Communities Council is an international non-governmental organization, headquartered in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi. It is considered a think tank to rationalize organizations and societies working in Muslim societies, renew their thinking and improve their performance in order to achieve one goal; The integration of Muslim societies in their countries, in a way that their members realize the perfection of citizenship and complete affiliation with the Islamic religion.
