The World Muslim Communities Council condemns the recent Iranian attacks targeting the Gulf states and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC) expresses its strongest condemnation and deep denunciation of the brutal Iranian attacks targeting several Arabian Gulf states and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. This rejected aggressive behavior undermines the security and sovereignty of states, subjects their people to intimidation and threats, and constitutes a blatant violation of religious values, humanitarian norms, and the principles governing international relations.
This aggressive approach clearly contradicts the principles of Islam, which forbid injustice and aggression and place the preservation of life and the protection of homelands among the highest objectives of Sharia. Allah the Almighty said: “And do not transgress. Indeed, Allah does not like transgressors”. Under no circumstances can the targeting of nations or the destabilisation of societies be justified under any religious slogan, ideological outreach, or inflammatory rhetoric that uses Islam as a cover for political conflicts. Islam is a religion of civilisation and peace, not a religion of chaos and aggression.
TWMCC recalls the teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) regarding the prohibition of attacking fellow Muslims or terrorising peaceful people. The Prophet (PBUH) said: “A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim. He should not oppress him, let him down, or despise him... Everything of a Muslim is sacred to another Muslim: his blood, his property, and his honour” (Narrated by Muslim). This is a comprehensive principle establishing the sanctity of bloodshed and the prohibition of aggression, confirming that the security and stability of societies are Sharia-sanctioned values that must not be compromised.
Furthermore, TWMCC warns against sectarian and denominational incitement that some seek to employ to ignite strife among the people of the nation and transform political disputes into internal conflicts. and recalls the words of Allah the Almighty: “And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided,” emphasising that the unity of national societies and the cohesion of states are the strongest fortresses against projects of chaos and division.
TWMCC renews its full solidarity with the Arabian Gulf states and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in all legitimate measures they take to protect their security, stability, and sovereignty. It emphasises that safeguarding regional peace and preventing a slide into cycles of chaos and escalation is a collective responsibility that requirs wisdom and self-restraint to preserve the security of nations and the future of their peoples.
