TWMCC Participates in the African Conference for the Promotion of Peace in Nouakchott

The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC) participated in The African Conference for the Promotion of Peace, held under the patronage of His Excellency President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, in collaboration with the Mauritanian government.
The conference was convened as part of the 6th International Forum for Peace in Africa and took place from 10 to 12 February 2026 at the Moktar Ould Daddah International Conference Center in Nouakchott.
The conference was held under the theme “Africa and the Making of Hope: There is No Despair in God's Mercy,” and brought together leading scholars, intellectuals, policymakers, and representatives of religious and thought institutions from across the African continent.
TWMCC’s participation underscores its ongoing commitment to supporting regional and international efforts aimed at strengthening social cohesion, fostering dialogue and coexistence, and promoting moderation.
These efforts contribute to addressing the intellectual and social challenges facing African societies and to advancing stability and sustainable development across the continent.
