The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC) is participating in the International Conference of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, held under the title “Professions in Islam: Their Ethics, Impact, and Future in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” on 19–20 January, under the patronage of HE President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, and is organised and supervised by HE Professor Dr Usama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, with the participation of a distinguished group of scholars, researchers, and thinkers from across the Islamic world.

TWMCC’s participation comes within the framework of its institutional engagement in supporting scholarly and intellectual efforts aimed at renewing religious discourse and strengthening sound jurisprudential approaches to addressing contemporary issues, particularly those related to consolidating ethical values, as well as building responsible religious awareness, and confronting intellectual and societal challenges with a balanced, scientific spirit.

The Council’s participation also affirms its role in building bridges of cooperation with major religious and academic institutions in the Islamic world, and in contributing to the production of contemporary jurisprudential knowledge that helps guide sound religious opinions (fatwas), safeguard social peace, and promote the values of coexistence and moderation.
