TWMCC Condemns Terrorist Attack on Manchester Synagogue

  • 2025-Oct-28

The World Muslim Communities Council expresses its strong condemnation and denunciation of the heinous terrorist attack that targeted a Jewish synagogue in Manchester, United Kingdom, claiming the lives of innocent and peaceful people.

TWMCC affirms that such terrorist crimes are completely inconsistent with human values and religious principles that criminalise attacks on human lives and prohibit the violation of places of worship. TWMCC also emphasises that targeting places of worship is a blatant assault on human sanctity and the right to practice religious rituals in safety and peace.

While expressing its solidarity with the British people and the families of the victims and the injured, TWMCC calls on the international community to criminalise hate speech and extremism and to promote a culture of dialogue, tolerance, and coexistence among followers of different religions and cultures.

TWMCC reiterates its firm position that terrorism has no religion or identity, and that combating this phenomenon requires a joint international effort to address its ideological, organisational, and financial roots in order to achieve global security, stability, and peace.
