TWMCC Chairman Receives Head of Russian Foundation for Supporting Islamic Education and Culture

HE Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC), received HE Evgeny Eryomin, Head of the Department of Cooperation with Religious Organisations at the Office of the President of the Russian Federation for Internal Policy, and Chairman of the Foundation for Supporting Islamic Culture, Science, and Education.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in religious, cultural, and educational fields, promoting best practices in coexistence and cooperation among diverse Russian populations. They reviewed the conditions of the Muslim community in Russia and explored methods to support dialogue and intercultural cooperation. They also exchanged expertise in training religious leaders and discussed activating educational and cultural collaboration.
Both sides emphasised the importance of cooperation and partnership between the UAE and Russia in reinforcing moderation and tolerance values, promoting joint cooperation to serve Muslim communities, and enhancing their positive engagement within their societies.
