
TWMCC Chairman Discusses with a Chinese Delegation Strategies to Consolidate Values of Coexistence and Enhance Dialogue

HE Dr Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC), received a cultural exchange delegation from the People's Republic of China, headed by HE Mr Xing Guangcheng, Member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, director of the Institute of Chinese Borderland Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, to discuss ways to enhance cultural and academic cooperation, which contributes to consolidating common human values and improving understanding between societies.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of the Muslim community in China, and the importance of fortifying societies, enabling them to confront extremist thoughts and hate speech with their correct Islamic awareness, and enhancing joint efforts to spread the culture of peaceful coexistence and dialogue.
This meeting comes as part of the TWMCC's efforts to enhance cooperation and support initiatives that consolidate the values of coexistence and religious tolerance and contribute to building bridges of communication between the people of one nation.
