
TWMCC Holds 'The Rule of Law in Ghana... Establishing Justice and Rejecting Discrimination' Online Lecture

The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC) held an online lecture, titled 'The Rule of Law in Ghana... Establishing Justice and Rejecting Discrimination', presented by Fatimatu Abubakar, former Minister of Information in Ghana, as part of the TWMCC's series of lectures.
The lecture addressed the nature of Ghanaian society and its diverse tribes and ethnicities, stressing that the Ghanaian Constitution guarantees basic human rights and ensures equality in education, health, and care without religious or linguistic discrimination.
Abubakar pointed to the pivotal role of youth in Ghanaian society, whether as students or leaders of community work, stressing the importance of sharing experiences and enhancing loyalty and responsibility.
She also touched on the role of social media, explaining that the Ghanaian government adopts it as a primary means of communicating with youth and conveying news, as its pages have millions of followers.
Regarding the Muslim community in Ghana, Abubakar praised the impact of digital content in spreading and promoting knowledge of the Islamic religion, stressing that Muslims are an essential part of Ghanaian society, and that the constitution guarantees equality among all tribes and ethnicities.
