The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC) held an online lecture, titled "Human Aspects of Life of Prophet Muhammad PBUH," presented by Dr Craig Considine, Department of Sociology at Rice University, US, within the Council's series of lectures.

During the lecture, Dr Considine highlighted the remarkable human qualities of the Prophet PBUH, emphasising that his teachings provided humanity with valuable lessons that remain relevant to this day.

He further explained that the Prophet PBUH was a model in rejecting racism, advocating for women's rights, promoting the pursuit of knowledge, and fostering bridges of communication between nations.

Prophet Muhammad PBUH also taught the significance of human brotherhood and self-improvement, Dr Considine noted.

He pointed out that humanity was at the core of the Prophet PBUH's actions, evident in his interactions with everyone—from his companions and family to other nations and even his adversaries.

Dr Considine provided examples of the Prophet PBUH's respect for other religions, such as Christianity and Judaism, referencing the document he signed with followers of these faiths after migrating (Hijrah) to Medina.

The lecture also touched on the Prophet PBUH's efforts to combat racism in Medina and his collaboration with his companion Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq to eradicate discriminatory practices, emphasising that the Prophet PBUH embodied justice, trust, and peace.

TWMCC is an international non-governmental organization that functions as a think tank. It supports Muslim community organisations and associations by helping them improve their operations, collaborate effectively, and adopt innovative approaches.
