TWMCC Launches Regional Office for Balkans in Sarajevo

The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC) announced the launching of its regional office in the Balkans, located in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo.


HE Dr Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, TWMCC Chairman said that the launching of this regional office aligns with the council’s dedication to fostering constructive engagement with various Muslim communities in the Balkans.


Through this office, the council will coordinate with Islamic Sheikhdoms across the Balkans to activate religious, academic, humanitarian, and cultural initiatives and activities, he noted.


HE Dr Al Nuaimi further expressed his gratitude to His Eminence Sheikh Husein Kavazović, Head of Scholars and Grand Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the kind invitation to launch the office and for choosing the capital of Sarajevo as its headquarters.


HE also reaffirmed the council's commitment to enhancing communication and coordination with all Islamic Sheikhdoms in the Balkans.
