He called for recalling of the significant historical role played by Indian Muslim scholars in strengthening national values and coexistence among the diverse religious communities in India and their contribution to social harmony and mutual respect.

Al-Marzouqi highlighted that Indian Muslims bear a great responsibility in preserving the unique fabric of Indian society and reviving their Islamic heritage by showcasing their ancestors' role in building the nation, instilling loyalty to the country in the younger generations, and instilling awareness of their duties and rights as proud Indian citizens who respect and appreciate their compatriots of different faiths, beliefs, and cultures.

He affirmed that TWMCC Council promotes respect for diversity and recognises its importance in building strong and stable societies while emphasising the importance of such conferences and events in establishing a sustainable atmosphere that allows Muslims and their compatriots to benefit from their country’s cultural and religious diversity and to work together for a brighter future for all.
