The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC) held an online lecture, titled "Imam Al-Ghazali’s Instructions for Teaching Muslim Children", presented by Gray Henry, Director of Fons Vitae Publishing and Distribution in USA, within the Council's series of lectures.

During the lecture, Henry highlighted Imam Al-Ghazali’s role in accurately presenting Islam, noting that our daily thoughts are messages from God.

Henry further mentioned that she has been reflecting on the afterlife, which led her to reading Al-Ghazali’s writings on the soul.

She also stressed the significance of Al-Ghazali’s works, particularly his book "The Revival of the Religious Sciences," which detailed every aspect of Islam and helped her understand that Islam emphasises human purity and warns against the soul’s negative inclinations.

To make the most of Al-Ghazali’s writings, Henry said that she is currently translating them into English.

In addition, she said that they have received financial support from Dubai to translate Al-Ghazali’s volumes into child-friendly versions, so children can learn from them from as young as four.

She believes Al-Ghazali’s writings guide children on how to live, emphasising that our actions should come from the heart, as time passes quickly, according to Al-Ghazali.

TWMCC is an international non-governmental organisation that functions as a think tank. It supports Muslim community organisations and associations by helping them improve their operations, collaborate effectively, and adopt innovative approaches.
