TWMCC Hosts Online Ramadan Lecture Titled "Who is Responsible for Humanity"

The World Muslim Communities Council organized a online Ramadan lecture titled "Who is Responsible for Humanity" presented by HE Dr. Mustafa Ceric, the former Grand Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as part of the Council's Ramadan lecture series.

Dr. Mustafa Ceric stated that "the one responsible for humanity is the human being whom God created in the best form and made him a caliph on earth and subjected to him what is in the heavens and what is on earth of favors."

He stressed that "human society is a herd in its civilizational form," saying: "Civilization is a human awakening that is realized by rejecting religious prohibitions and through human efforts."

The former Grand Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina emphasized that "man must know, as Abu al-Qasim al-Raghib al-Isfahani said, that he is not fit for the caliphate of God Almighty, and his worship and emirate of his land are not complete except for the one who is pure of soul."

He explained that "the impurity of the body is perceived by sight, and the impurity of the soul is not perceived except by insight," pointing out that "we are living today in a major humanitarian crisis."

It is noteworthy that The World Muslim Communities Council is an international non-governmental organization and is considered an expert house for guiding organizations and associations working in Muslim societies, renewing their thinking, improving their performance, and coordinating between them.
