TWMCC Chairman Participates in 'International Dialogue of Civilisations and Tolerance' Conference in Abu Dhabi

HE Dr Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of The World Muslim Communities Council, participated in the International Dialogue of Civilisations and Tolerance Conference 2024, held under the theme “Bridging Cultures, Nurturing Diversity”, under patronage and in presence of HE Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE’s Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi.
During his speech, HE Dr Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi highlighted UAE’s pioneering role in promoting a culture of peace and tolerance.
TWMCC Chairman further addressed peacebuilding as a necessity of top priority in the lives of individuals and families in societies.
In addition, HE stressed that promoting the values of coexistence and consolidating human values in the UAE is an approach that the state has worked to achieve through the educational system, religious discourse, legislation and laws, and creating a culture of peace.
The three-day Conference, which featured the participation of an elite group of religious, cultural and community leaders, was organised by Emirates Scholar Research Centre (ESRC), the UAE’s Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, in cooperation with the United Nations Alliance of Civilisations (UNAOC).
TWMCC is an international non-governmental organisation, and a think tank to help organisations and associations working in Muslim communities, renew their thinking, improve their performance, and coordinate their joint work.
