Under the theme 'United by our common humanity'... TWMCC participates in the ‘Global Alliance for Tolerance’ summit on the sidelines of COP28

Under the theme 'United by our common humanity,' the World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC) participated in the sessions of the ‘Global Alliance for Tolerance’ summit at COP28 in Dubai, with a prominent international presence to activate the role of tolerance and global peaceful coexistence in confronting climate challenges and promoting the values of sustainability.


HE Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, opened the ‘Global Alliance for Tolerance’ summit, which was organised by the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence in cooperation with the Muslim Council of Elders on the sidelines of COP28 at Expo Dubai.


The opening of the summit was attended by HE Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, President of the World Council of Muslim Communities, where ways to enhance dialogue and social interaction that can enhance mutual understanding and acceptance of different points of view, build bridges of communication, and encourage understanding between different communities were discussed, paving the way for cooperation and common understanding towards sustainable development goals.
