HE Dr Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of The World Muslim Communities Council, has met HE Abdullah Boussouf, Secretary General of the Council of the Moroccan Community Living Abroad (CCME), during his visit to the Rabat International Book Fair in the Moroccan capital.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the mechanism of enhancing cooperation between the two parties in a way that serves Muslim societies, discussing issues of coexistence, and emphasising the principles of national state, citizenship and integration, as well as the localisation of the concepts of religious, ethnic and cultural pluralism, in a way that achieves cooperation for the interest of nations in the whole world.

The two sides also explored ways to formulate scientific, academic and rehabilitation programmes to confront the ideology of extremism and isolationism, through serious work to achieve contemporary jurisprudence within the tolerant Islamic Sharia, and in a manner that is consistent with the conditions of the members of Muslim communities in the countries in which they live, in addition to seeking to enhance the positive role of Muslims in various parts of the world.
