TWMCC Participates in Russia-Islamic Group of Strategic Vision Meeting in Kazan Held Under Patronage of President Putin

The World Muslim Communities Council is participating in the meeting of the Russia-Islamic Group of Strategic Vision, in the Russian city of Kazan, under the auspices of Russian President HE Vladimir Putin, and in the presence of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov.


The Forum represents an opportunity to enhance cooperation between The World Muslim Communities Council and the Muslim community in the Russian Federation. The meeting of the Russia-Islamic Group of Strategic Vision is set to discuss common issues between the two sides and enhances cooperation in facing existing challenges.


The Group consists of 33 famous statesmen and public figures from 27 Muslim countries, including former prime ministers, former Ministers of Foreign Affairs, a number of the largest prominent scholars of the Muslim world.


It is noteworthy that The World Muslim Communities Council is an international non-governmental organisation that was established on May 8, 2018. It is headquartered in Abu Dhabi and has more than 900 Islamic organisations and institutions from 142 countries under it. It is considered a house of expertise to rationalise organisations and associations operating in Muslim societies, renew their thinking and improve their performance. and coordination among themselves
