TWMCC Condemns Burning of a Holy Quran Copy in Sweden

The World Muslim Communities Council strongly condemned the burning of a holy Quran copy by extremists in Sweden. The TWMCC affirmed its rejection of all practices aimed at destabilising security and stability that are inconsistent with human, religious and moral values and principles, and renews its permanent call to renounce hate speech and violence, calling for the necessity of respecting religious symbols, and refraining from inciting hatred through insulting religions, their symbols and sanctities, and emphasising the need to spread the values of tolerance and coexistence among all
