The Council Secretary-General Participates in Meeting of Fatwa Offices Worldwide

His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Bechari, Secretary-General of The World Muslim Communities Council, participated in the meeting of the Executive Council of the Fatwa Offices Worldwide, on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
The meeting was attended by members of the Council, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Shawky Allam, Mufti of Egypt and Head of the General Secretariat; His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Abdel Latif Derian, Mufti of Lebanon; His Eminence Sheikh Mohamed Hussein, Mufti of Al Quds; His Eminence Sheikh Prof. Dr. Nauryzbai Kazhy Taganuly, Mufti of Kazakhstan; His Eminence Sheikh Mohamed al-Nur Mohamed al-Hilu, Mufti of Chad; and Dr. Ibrahim Najm, Secretary General of the General Secretariat.
The meeting's agenda included discussing the General Secretariat's report on the activities for the year 2021-2022, and the projects for the next year.
At the end of the meeting, the participants thanked the Egyptian Dar al-Ifta for sponsoring the activities of the General Secretariat of the Fatwa Offices Worldwide, and for the success of the Salam Center for Extremism Studies conference, stressing the need to ensure continuity and invest results.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Bechari held meetings with members of the Executive Council.
