Chairman of The World Muslim Communities Council Welcomes President of Russian Islamic University- Kazan

 His Excellency Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of The World Muslim Communities Council, Welcomed Professor Rafiq Muhammadshin, President of the Russian Islamic University of Kazan, and his accompanying delegation, at the Council's headquarters in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi.


 The two parties discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between to serve Muslim communities, a mechanism for spreading the values ​​of peace, consolidating religious, ethnic and cultural pluralism, achieving cooperation and interdependence for the benefit of the nations, and consolidating the values ​​of moderation, dialogue, tolerance, and national belonging.


 Al-Nuaimi praised the development that Russia is witnessing at all levels, and presented it as a pioneering model in academic education and the affairs of the Muslim community, pointing to Russia's celebration this year of the 1100th anniversary of the official adoption of Islam by the Bulgar peoples in the Volga Basin.  His Excellency pointed out that the Russian Islamic University in Kazan is one of the most prestigious Islamic universities in Russia that contributes significantly to preparing Muslim generations capable of leading the Muslim community in Russia, and represents a positive model in society.


 The two parties discussed unifying efforts to enhance common points in achieving contemporary jurisprudence within the tolerant Islamic Sharia, in harmony with the societies in which they live, as well as by seeking to enhance the positive role of Muslims all around the world.
