Council Secretary General, imam of Bosnian Community in Paris Discusses Confronting Extremism

His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Bechari, Secretary-General of The World Muslim Communities Council, welcomed on Wednesday, November 3, 2021,
Sheikh Abdul Salam Fitich, the imam of the Bosnian community in Paris, at the council’s headquarters in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi.
The two parties discussed, during the meeting, the conditions of the Muslim community in the region, issues of integration and peaceful coexistence and ways of cooperation in issues of common goals.
They also discussed how to formulate scientific programs to confront the ideology of extremism and isolationism, through hard work to achieve contemporary jurisprudence within the tolerant Islamic Sharia, and in line with the conditions of the people of Muslim communities in the countries in which they live.
They reviewed the efforts of the Council in supporting Muslims all around the world, and in non-Muslim countries in particular, through continuous communication that urging them to integrate peacefully with the rest of society, and to qualify scholars who are able to improve the image of Islam.
For his part, the imam of the Bosnian community in Paris valued the efforts made by The World Muslim Communities Council in supporting Muslims all around the world, and the great role that the Council plays in confronting the ideology of extremism and spreading the correct image of the Islam, expressing the pride of the Bosnian community in Paris in these efforts to support Islam.
