Secretary-General of the World Muslim Communities Council meets Secretary-General of the ruling party of Brazil

HE Dr. Mohamed Bechari, Secretary-General of the World Muslim Communities Council and Secretary-General of the ruling party of the Federative Republic of Brazil Gustavo Piano with his accompanying delegation met on the sidelines of his participation in the 31st International Conference of Latin America and Caribbean Muslims.

Dr. Bechari explained the objectives of the World Muslim Communities Council and its activities that promote the values of good citizenship among Muslim communities in order to build the nations where they live, as well as cooperation with the governments of their countries to respect the basic rights in the light of the respect of laws and culture.

The Secretary-General of the ruling Brazilian Party praised the efforts of the United Arab Emirates, its wise leadership, and all initiatives to promote the culture of peace and dialogue among people and to combat the ideas of extremism and hatred.

The Secretary-General of the World Muslim Communities Council has submitted to Secretary-General of the ruling party of Brazil, the Global Charter of Muslim Communities, which is adopted by the leaders of Muslim institutions in Abu Dhabi on 9 May 2018.

The 31st International Conference of Latin America and Caribbean Muslims was launched in Sao Paulo, Brazil, under the title "Teaching Arabic in Latin America and the Caribbean (reality and hope)" with the participation of the World Muslim Communities Council.

This activity, which will last from 23 to 25 November 2018 is abound with important sessions discussing the importance of Arabic language and its place in Islam, and the reality of teaching Arabic in Latin American countries.
