Grand Mufti of Egypt Welcomes Secretary General of The Council

His Honorable Sheikh Prof. Dr. Shawki Allam, Mufti of the Arab Republic of Egypt, welcomed His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Bechari, Secretary General of The World Muslim Communities Council, at the headquarters of the Egyptian Dar Al Ifta in Cairo, on Monday, March 1, 2021.
The Secretary-General of The World Muslim Communities Council offered the congratulations of the Council, headed by His Excellency Dr. Ali Rashid Al-Nuaimi, on the renewal of the Egyptian President’s confidence for his eminence to head Dar Al Ifta.
The two parties also discussed the preparation for the conference of the General Secretariat about the houses of Ifta, and how to raise the performance of this houses, as well as ensuring cooperation between Islamic institutions in the service of issues of moderation and adopting the approach of science and reason to find jurisprudential solutions to modern developments.
The meeting was attended by Counselor Dr. Ibrahim Negm, Secretary General for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide.
