- 2026-Apr-30
The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC) strongly condemns the terrorist stabbing incident that took place in north London, targeting two Jewish residents.
TWMCC expresses its unequivocal rejection of all forms of violence, extremism, and hatred directed at individuals on the basis of their religion or identity, affirming that such crimes constitute a blatant violation of human values and a direct threat to the security and stability of societies.
TWMCC also affirms its full solidarity with the victims and their families, as well as with British society in all its diversity, stressing the importance of collective efforts to confront and criminalise hate speech and extremism, and to promote a culture of coexistence, tolerance, and freedom of worship as fundamental pillars of stable societies.
TWMCC further emphasises the need to intensify international efforts to combat terrorism in all its forms, to dismantle its ideological and financial sources, and to strengthen cooperation among religious and community leaders in order to foster the values of mutual respect and cultural diversity.
