The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC) is participating in Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair, taking place from 23 May to 1 June, 2025, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote cultural dialogue and knowledge exchange with Muslim communities around the world.

TWMCC‘s participation reaffirms its role in supporting cultural and scientific initiatives that contribute to spreading moderate thought and strengthening Islamic identity. It also aims to highlight the contributions of Muslim communities in the fields of culture, education, and knowledge.

TWMCC will showcase a collection of publications and books reflecting its intellectual and research activities, most notably: “Bridges of Indigenisation in Japan, Korea and China” book, which highlights the role of motherhood initiatives in Muslim communities in these countries, and the role of Muslim wives as mediators between Muslim migrants and the broader societies they live in.

Furthermore, “Life in Islam and Service to the Nation: Contribution of Muslims to Administration, Economy and Social Life in China” book focuses on the unique form and expression of Islam in China, which has not been replicated elsewhere in the world.

Additionally, TWMCC will showcase “Localisation of State & Society for Muslims in Southeast Asia” book at its pavilion, which explores the localisation of Islam in Southeast Asia and the interaction of Muslim communities with their respective states and societies.

TWMCC‘s pavilion is expected to attract visitors and interested attendees with its diverse range of publications, as part of the council’s mission to promote shared human values and foster the principles of tolerance, dialogue, and coexistence with other religions and cultures.
