TWMCC Participates in the 37th International Conference of Latin American and Caribbean Muslims in Brazil

The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC) has participated in the 37th Annual International Conference organised by the Islamic Dawah Center in Brazil, in cooperation with the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, titled 'Islamic Education in Latin America and the Caribbean: Its Role in Preserving Identity,' from 29 November to 1 December 2024, in Sao Paulo, Brazil, with the participation of official delegations, researchers and specialists from various countries.
The conference will address six key themes, including the significance and status of Islamic education in Islam and the current state of Islamic education in Latin America and the Caribbean. It will explore strategies for promoting and spreading Islamic education among Muslim minorities, the role of Islamic education in preserving Islamic identity and social cohesion, and the challenges facing Islamic education in Muslim minority communities. It will also discuss solutions to address these challenges in Muslim minority communities.
TWMCC's participation confirms its keenness to communicate with Muslim communities and spread the values of tolerance, coexistence, and respect.
