TWMCC Chairman Meets with Member of Standing Committee of CPC Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Regional Committee in Abu Dhabi

HE Dr Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC), met with a Chinese delegation headed by, Ilzat Ahmatjan, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Regional Committee, at the TWMCC’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
The meeting saw a fruitful exchange on bolstering bilateral cooperation across diverse areas. Both parties tackled matters of importance to Muslim communities, including the crucial concerns of combating hate speech and extremism. A shared emphasis was placed on promoting respect for the rule of law, active citizenship, and successful integration. Furthermore, the conversation embraced the values of religious, ethnic, and cultural pluralism, recognizing their potential to foster collaboration and global solidarity for the benefit of all.
They also discussed ways to formulate scientific, academic, economic and rehabilitation programmes to confront extremist ideology and hate speech, in a way that is consistent with the circumstances of members of Muslim communities in the countries in which they live, and strive to enhance the positive role of Muslims in various parts of the world.
