TWMCC Secretary-General Meets Leaders and Heads of Islamic Organisations in Latin America and the Caribbean

HE Dr Mohamed Bechari, Secretary-General of The World Muslim Communities Council, held several meetings with leaders and heads of Islamic organisations in Latin America and the Caribbean countries to discuss the latest developments of Muslim communities in the region and the requirements of institutional work to achieve common goals. This came on the sidelines of the 35th International Conference of Muslims of Latin America and the Caribbean.
The issue of education and training of imams and preachers of mosques was the centre of consultations to raise the educational level of Muslim children.
His Excellency the Secretary-General of The World Muslim Communities Council presented to the heads of Islamic organizations the strategy of the Council in the region for the coming years based on effective and responsible partnership in service of Muslim communities.
