TWMCC Participates in the 9th Assembly of the Abu Dhabi Forum For Peace

The World Muslim Communities Council has participated in the ninth Assembly of the Abu Dhabi Forum For Peace, which will be held from 8 to 10 November, under the generous patronage of HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and in the presence of HE Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and under the guidance of HE Shaikh Abdullah bin Bayyah, Chairman of the UAE Fatwa Council and Head of the Abu Dhabi Forum for Peace, the major challenges facing humanity today are at the forefront of the forum activities
The forum focuses on presenting rational intellectual approaches that combine philosophical consideration and a practical dimension, to awaken the moral conscience and evoke good motives in the human conscience, with the aim of promoting peace and tolerance efforts to spare humanity the evil of wars and violent conflicts, the consequences of climate change, environmental pollution, health pandemics, food shortages and the threat of famine in especially developing countries.
The ninth assembly is trying to be an ethical and religious stand that prevents slipping into nihilistic wars, an intellectual pause through which the participants highlight the value of peace and the danger of violating human infallibility, and a wise pause that guides human and natural energies in the fields of environment, health and food.
The challenges discussed by the forum, which are the challenges of security, health, environment and food, call for presenting innovative approaches and visions that address the impulses of wars in minds and their tendencies in souls, before they turn into actions that threaten human and urban life with the threat of destruction and annihilation, through the adoption of the method of dialogue in solving problems and resolving conflicts.
