Member of Council of Senior Scholars in Saudi Arabia Receives Secretary-General of The Council

HE Dr. Saad Al-Shathri Member of the Council of Senior Scholars, and Advisor to the Saudi Royal Court, received Dr Mohammed Bashari, Secretary-General of the World Council of Muslim Communities, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Monday, November 7th
During the meeting, both sides discussed the current conditions of Muslim societies and the challenges they face, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, which had negative results in Muslim societies countries from the spread to unemployment that led to their poverty
HE Dr Mohammed Bashari, Secretary-General of the Council, presented the Council's vision to encourage the sons of Muslim societies to positively engage in building their countries and to participate in achieving a better tomorrow that will benefit to all
During the meeting, both sides also discussed the outcomes of the international conference on ‘Islamic unity’, HE Dr Saad Al-Shathri praised the role of the UAE and its wise leaders in achieving prosperity for its people, intellectual security and food security for all its citizens and residents. HE also emphasised the success of the UAE policy in managing cultural pluralism and ethnicity within the framework of peaceful coexistence and tolerance
