Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies expressed condemnation over the terrorist deadly blasts in a number of houses of worship and hotels on Sunday morning, 21 April 2019 in the capital city Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The Forum for Promoting of Peace in Muslim Societies in the United Arab Emirates expressed in a statement:

Allah bless the Prophet, all his descendants and all his prophets’ brothers sent from God.

Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies in the United Arab Emirates condemns the brutal terrorist blasts that targeted a number of houses of worship and hotels in the capital city Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The Forum condemns this outrageous crime with the same level as it condemned the terrorist attacks targeting the Christchurch mosque in New Zealand few weeks ago. When the horrific crimes of terrorism follow every time, they assert that nothing bring the terrorists together except that they are out of religions and nothing united them except the spirit of hatred of mankind...No religion or mind will justify or legitimize the targeting of places of worship and guest houses, where innocent people and worshipers find safety.

Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies states that the status of places of worship - whatever the faith is - is protected in Islam and its protection is imposed on all believers.

Allah says: Had Allah not repelled some people by the means of others, the monasteries and churches, the synagogues and mosques in which the Name of Allah is remembered would have been destroyed.

The Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies expressed its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and to all the Sri Lankan people, calling on all its components to hang on to their inherent model of harmony and coexistence and to reject the spirit of hatred that these terrorist acts seek to disseminate.
