Cooperation Agreement between the World Council of Muslim Communities and the Fund for Islamic Culture, Science and Education of Russia

The World Council of Muslim Communities and the Fund for Islamic Culture, Science and Education of Russia signed a cooperation agreement today in Moscow. The Agreement aims to frame their efforts to strengthen the values of tolerance, coexistence, peace and security of peoples.

Importance of this Agreement is based on the mutual desire of both parties to strengthen the common human values, spread the principles of moderation, tolerance, and love and instill the sense belonging to the home country, respect for law, dialogue, and coexistence with other religions and cultures.

The Cooperation Agreement signed by the World Council of Muslim Communities and the Fund for Islamic Culture, Science and Education of Russia takes into account the importance of facilitating interaction between Muslims and their organizations in Russia with the World Council of Muslim Communities to combat the ideas of extremism and intolerance, dissemination of hate speech against religions and races. Such interaction will also help renounce the ideologies leading to terrorism and violence.

The Agreement aims to facilitate interaction between Muslims and the Islamic organizations in order to support the Islamic culture, science and education in the Muslim communities in Russia. This is based on the recognized importance of cooperation between the humanitarian organization to ensure communication between the different peoples and cultures.

The Agreement was signed by HE Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Head of the World Council of Muslim Communities and Mr. Alexander Vladimirovich Jedanov, Director of the Fund for Islamic Culture, Science and Education of Russia

The Agreement signing ceremony was attended by HE Muaddad Harib Al-Khaili, UAE Ambassador in Russia, HE Mikhail Belaosov, Deputy Head of the Internal Policy Department of the Russian Presidency, and a number of officials from UAE and the Office of the Russian President.
